With more than two decades of experience, Matthias has a proven track record of success in the investment banking, finance as well as digital infrastructure industry. He was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of Converge ICT Solutions, a publicly listed Philippines’ fiber broadband operator, where he led the company through its Initial Public Offering (IPO). He began his career at NTT Docomo where he spent a few years in corporate development.

“PDG has embarked on our next phase of growth as we solidify our position even further as a Pan Asia leader,” said Rangu Salgame, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder of PDG. “I am excited to work with Matthias, who brings a wealth of M&A and industry experience to the company. As we continue to drive growth aggressively, we are also focused on bringing in strong talent to help us execute our M&A strategy as well as complement our current leadership team as we progress.”

Earlier this year, PDG announced the appointment of Yoshinaga Takahashi, Managing Director of Japan, who is responsible for the company’s growth in Japan, including the construction of its data center campus in Saitama City, Tokyo. The company also unveiled its SG+ strategy, with its first 96MW campus in Batam that will enable customers to seamlessly expand their infrastructure from Singapore to highly scalable data center campuses in Batam and Johor.

Matthias Vukovich, Chief Investment Officer shared, “PDG’s M&A strategy is truly unique, as evidenced by its remarkable success. In a very short period, the company has built the most formidable data center footprint in Asia across five countries. I am delighted to be joining a company where I can be part of an outstanding leadership team to drive its next phase of growth.”
